I AM Facilities Management Video

Washtenaw Community College’s Facilities Management Department is proud to present this video entitled “I am Facilities Management.” The video takes you on a tour of the many people and activities of WCC Facilities Management. It provides a picture of the mostly behind the scenes world of the everyday heroes who keep WCC running.

The video highlights who we are and what we do. It was created by Bill Ghrist, System Analyst and Brian Steinberg, Facilities Operations Staff with the support of WCC Media Services 

Recyclemania 2013: Get in the Recycle Game!

Washtenaw Community College’sRecycling Operations is overseeing Recyclemania, a friendly competition and bench marking tool for college and university recycling programs to promote waste reduction activities to their campus communities.

Washtenaw Community College Recycling Operation Bottles and Cans

The contest is run over an 8-week period starting officially February 3 – April 12, 2013.

Colleges are ranked based on who recycles the most on a per capita basis, as well as which schools have the best recycling rate as a percentage of total waste and which schools generate the least amount of combined trash and recycling.
