Looking at meteorology as the specific field of study to explore flipped classrooms, the author examines the effect that flipping classrooms have had on atmospheric science. He specifically looks at MOOC’s as well as smaller classroom settings, concluding that flipping may be most beneficial in smaller, upper class courses.
